    COVID-19 Safety

Safety is our Priority

Understandably, safety is a big concern for many as they are deciding whether to participate in this year's events. And rest assured, the safety of the participants, staff, and volunteers is of utmost importance to us. Our main goal is to eliminate as many touch points as possible and limit exposure between people, which is why we are asking all participants, staff, and volunteers to adhere to CDC guidelines. Meaning a mask/face covering will be required at packet pick up and on site on race day. Masks/face coverings are not required while running but strongly encouraged. Additionally, we ask that they all be in good health and symptom free from any illness for at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Failure to adhere to any of the stated race requirements below will result in immediate disqualification of any participant involved. Finally, given our current circumstances, we do ask that the number of people at the event are limited and we suggest that the event remain for participants only and no spectators this year.

COVID Precautions

PACKET PICKUP

If you don't feel comfortable picking up your packet in person, you may select the Mail My Packet option in your RunSignUp profile in "add ons". You must do this no later than November 22nd in order to have your packet in time. A mask/face covering will be required at packet pick up the day before and on site on race day. Masks/face coverings are not required while running but strongly encouraged. We ask that you arrive no more than 20 minutes prior to your start window if you're picking up your packet on race day. One of our main priorities in keeping everyone safe is to eliminate touch points from packet pick up to the end of the event. Therefore, after picking up their race packet and any pre-purchased merchandise, participants should exit the packet pick up area. Participants may return to their cars or must otherwise proceed to the start corral in a timely manner. We know that you're probably going to be really excited to celebrate the holiday season, but we ask that you please refrain from gathering in large groups.

START CORRAL

Please do not line up in the corral if it is outside of your start window. Participants will be released in waves of 10 every 2 minutes based on the start window referenced on their bib. We ask that you line up in the corral and follow direction from staff on when to proceed. Participants in the start corral MUST be ready to approach the start line ready to run. While waiting in the start corral, we ask that participants adhere to social distancing requirements. Participants will not be allowed to congregate or conduct any race preparation (warm-ups, stretching, adjusting or changing apparel, etc.) in the start area. This may be done outside the start corral away from other participants. Upon approaching the start line, participants are required to start immediately on the staff member's audible cue.

COURSE

In an effort to reduce touch points participants must be completely self sufficient, meaning there will be no water stops or refreshments on the course. There will be 3 fun stations along the course, please keep proper social distance while stopping at each station. We ask that you help us keep the course and community clean and please do not littler on the course. It is inevitable that runners will want to pass one another, and we ask that participants pass only when it is safe and clear of others.

FINISH LINE/POST RACE

Congratulations, you finished the race! Upon completing the run and crossing the finish line, participants must continue moving towards the exit of the finish area. Please do not linger or gather in large groups. No congregating of any type will be permitted either before, during, or after the event. Participants will receive a hot cocoa packet in their swag bag to enjoy at home this year as well as free beverage tokens to Hop Haus Brewing Company to enjoy at your leisure.
